My series 2 resto from 2 year ago!
thought i would start a resto thread from when i got my S2 couple years ago!
RS has first got it, no tax or mot!
Put new bumper and headlights on as didnt like the morretes.
Ill get the pictures uploaded from when it was in the body shop,
Fuel tank area
Drivers and passenger side footwell soaked!!
Some pictures of floor finished sort of, got it waxoyled so you will see this later on in the pictures!!

First thing Sprayed!! lovely shine.
Inside of the car, not entirely sure what the black things are for.
Starting to go bacl together.
Floor been waxoyled, looks so much better then what it was like at the start.

wow, very very uber clean now mate well done.
how was the roof for rust before you started? i know they rot through from the inside just behind the sunroof.

awsome mate, bet that was good to here as i've seen a few horror stories on here. the only way to deal with them seemed to be chop the skin off to gain axcess, chop out the rot and either weld in new metal or replace with non sunroof.

adding more pictures of stripping the engine bay
Engine bay as it was when car was on the road last year,
Start of the stripping down!!
Battery out.
Metering Head out,and Serve off.
Took bumper off and was happy to see it survived the horrible snow we had last december and january.
FMIC, rad and starter motor out.
