Engine bay in etch, was bare metaled then finished some tidying up.

Chassis stands are in. Shot from the front.
Passenger seat mounted, seat mountings done.
Just a little welding to finish and tidy up.
Started drivers position. Ordered some smaller CDS to make mounting points for the false floor and pedal box. And to extend the steering wheel out to my backwards seating position.
Rear chassis stand in. Was rather proud of the weld on this one!
Another view of the drivers position.
And again, standard steering wheel in place, but needs to move back when CDs arrives.
Gearbox/ block mocked in position for eyeing up Group A engine mounts. These don’t line up, I bought them years ago off eBay so can’t remember what they fitted at the time. But there going to need some chop shop to make them fit. Just waiting on my conversion plate so I can bolt the block to my RX8 gearbox, then it’s game on.
Picked up a 6 speed RX8 box this week.
