have a s2 turbo want to know what zetec eng will fit
i have a 1.6 zetec E blacktop , that came out of a 98 mondeo is there any way this would fit my s2 escort

i have the gear box that came with it out of mondeo would it need to be changed then

why would you want to put a 1.6 Zetec in anyway. They're crap. Also Mondeo's didn't come with the 1.6?

Yeah the 1.6 would fit but theres not much point as above there bollox!
Use your original box s2 box.. And get an 1.8 or a 2.0 in there!
1.8 simpler option as no need to change water pump etc. Just drops straight in

mayb this eng i have is not a 1.6 mayb it is the 1.8 if the mondeo did not come in a 1.6the doner car came wit no book how would i no?

it will have 16, 18 or 20 cast into the block on the top right on the front.
