Took some more pictures of underneath...surprising very solid except for the spare wheel well but thats easily sorted!

Going to start underneath at the end of summer hopfully by then some of the underseal will have worn off haha

Dodgy repair on drivers door will have to sort that out somtime!

Sills are very solid, and so are the inner sills!

Gave the headlights a spray, not the best but are better then they were!

Fuse box is very soild although pic dosn't do it justice!

Second hand pipercross and cold air feed on. Got it for free of my mates focus

Found a big dent in the petrol tank that i didnt no was there, nothing bad tho!

Only bit of welding needed on the boot apart from the battery tray!

After a few months ive MOT'D the car, Tax an Insured it and am loving it!!

Mates are saying turbo it but its not the fastest thing in the world but more then enough for me especially after its been rebuilt!!

Ive decided not to RS kit it as i havnt seen a good clean XR for ages, but often see Turbos!

My mate has just bought a red RS and when parked together mine gets just as many looks as his

Future plans, Refurb and spray wheels Ice White (Hopfully before Ford Fair)

Nice Exhaust System, Pipercross Panel Filter.

Winter, start on the underneath, tidying it up!!

Refurb brakes

Rebuild the engine

Full respray

Pics to follow

Should of really washed her before I took the pictures.

Im really liking the XR look as I was goin to add the RS kit but decided there are more RS's about then good clean straight XR's so no major changes are going to take place, just a freshen up!!

Can't wait to get cracking on the underside!! Good clean down, replace what I can, and loads of Hammerite!!

As you can see it was in desperate need of a new Fuel Filter!!!

Thats better! Runs abit smoother now I reckon it hadnt ben changed in at least 8 years!

As you can see it wasnt in good shape When I emptied the fuel out of it, it was literally black!! No wonder it wasnt running as smooth as I wanted!!

Done all that this afternoon, plus its had the Cambelt done so thats another worry off my mind
