Default chavy fiesta restoration

My girlfriend decided to buy a frst off ebay for £1100 because it looked good!!! After collecting it and getting it back to the garage i found it had no sills left but cant replace them because of the bodykit being in the way!! So after hours of explaining that it couldnt be moted without the kit being removed ive been given the go ahead to do what i think is necessary to get it sorted. O well i think its back to standard and back to white like it was made lol shes going to kill me!! If any one wants to buy chavy bumpers and bonnet just make me an offer,Also im after standard arch kit and bumpers if anyone has got them for sale?the

Right little update, managed to get all the standard bumpers, bodykit, boot spoiler and bonnet with a couple of other bits for £120 on monday. Ordered 2 new original wings new sills and rear quarter as the petrol cap has had 2 bad repairs and loads of filler. Ive stripped back the n/s inner wing and found some crappy welding so got to cut that out and do it properly. Tomorrow im starting to strip back the floor and see what rot needs sorting. Also got a new plasma cutter on its way they do make life a lot easier. More pics tomoz.

i dont think it looks THAT bad from the side view the body work looks well done, but the sparkly paint and those dustbin exhausts look terrible imo
i supose its nice to see something differant
ive stopped going to ford shows now as its the same thing every year, just rows and rows of the same boring things that have been done to death with the odd interesting thing in between

shame that underneath the pretty paint its a rotter but good effort for trying to save it

The Engine is standard apart from induction kit and baileys dump valve, Its only running 4psi boost ! Got new cambelt kit and service stuff to do after ive dropped engine and box out to sort engine bay. It looks like it had abs but has been removed so might be looking for a set-up to go back on.

My mate Andy got most of the floor stripped back this afternoon and im quite happy with what we found. As soon as the passengers side is finished tomoz were taking the engine and box out to sort the engine bay. At this rate should be ready for paint monday. Cheers for today andy see you 9.00 in the morning

shame i had a car that would suit her down to the ground...

i got given a crappy little corsa to get me back on the road once, i cant stand vauxhall as it is!
Plus the last owner was a big max power addict.

when i saw it i first thought some one was having a laugh....
there was a good 10 kg of fibreglass shit in the rear numberplate recess and .... well, ill post a pic up tomorrow, its easier and worth a laugh at it.

it ended up being ripped apart, shot, jumped on, crashed, and i think the shell eventualy got banger raced.... haha
it served a purpose though and i did get driving again.
ill post a pic up tomorrow lol
