Sprayed my boot today
sprayed my escort mk4 boot today. Had rust where the spare tyre sits, due to water leakage! dont have before pictures, but had to smoothen the rust with grinder!
its not bad, seeing that its my first time in a boot, I only sprayed a bonnet twice!
its had some 'dust' on it. would you recommend that I sand it down with 2500 and than polish it, or leave it as it is??

Would just leave it as is mate. What i would be more concerned about is who let you spray with just a charcoal filter mask on. They never heard of isocyanate poisoning and occupational asthma ? Not having a dig as you might not have known as im guessing you an apprentice as you look young in the pictures but can be very dangerous and can sensatise you at any age then it will be a short career as even aerosols will leave you breathless.
