Default My Mk6 Escort RS2000

I have never bothered with a project thread on here before (i think, cant remember if i did one for my saph lol) so i thought fuck it may as well lol

The next bit is copy and paste from another forum so some bits may be slightly irrelevant lol, I bought the car one day last week cant remember which

I have been saving for a couple months after crashing my shitbox runabout cirtroen zx left me with no money as it wasnt worth claiming for! I was supposed to be saving untill i had a decent amount of wedge to get another cossie but i got to a grand and couldnt take it anymore and bought something!

Escort Mk6 RS2000, Aubergine in colour, Magnex system and decat, strut brace and filter.

Its abit ropey body wise it needs painting but it was cheap and drives well. 150bhp and decent recaros as standard so im not bothered it will do atm.

Just took a couple of pics on my phone so people can see it i will take better ones at some point.

I hit a badger last night after owning the car for a few days i love my luck! The badger was the size of a cow it was massive lol

Its mangled the rad and as you can see the bumper!

I have now fitted another rad and had to fit a new power steering cooler as the badger killed that aswell so now im back on the road rolling like this

Im picking up a black bumper saturday so hopefully the car will soon be back to how it was when i bought it last week lol

I have also made a few purchases at central day, i have bought a different exhaust to try and get rid of the tinny sound, an espace splitter (nothing to put iy on atm lol) and a focus rs badge for the boot.

The exhaust is the same as i had on my cossie a 4" outwardly rolled which now fitted im thinking maybe isnt rite for the RS2000 and it is definatly way to loud its a powerflow with just a backbox and even though i like my cars to make a noise this is just to much lol i think i may have another small box fitted to tone it down abit. It needs some final adjustments we just wacked it on there.

Opinions on what i should do badge wise? i think escort rs2000 16v is abit much for a bootlid so im either going to keep the escort and put the frs badge in place of the 16v or have just the rs badge

You sure it wasn't actually a cow you hit?

Like it though mate, really miss mine, was proper fun to hoon about it. Be interesting to see how the exhaust looks when it's sitting right. Mine had a Mongoose cat back on, sounded quite nice, especially with a big old air filter on!

This system is powerflow so sounds wank, it has no middle box and just a small backbox its embarassing to drive atm way to loud lol

Had an arrival for the car yesterday, i like the Mk6 escort but tbh i prefer the look of the Mk5 RS2000 the Mk6 seems to just look like every other Mk6 in the range.

Ive got myself a bulge bonnet Mk5 RS2000 front!
As soon as i got home from work i unpacked it and took it straight over to the painters! so should be back and on the car soon!
