Hi! I am new to this forum and would be very grateful for some advice!

I am currently planning to buy a fisher fury kit car, the car is fitted with a Zetec 1.8 silver top.

This is the current set up,


The car only weighs 550kg, giving 5 secs, maybe slightly under to 60...but boys will be boys...So..
What is the best/cheapest way to go about squeezing say 180 out of it? or more..

I have seen the gsxr throttle body threads and would be very interested in that route, heck, the manifolds already there, just needs cutting! What management system could you recommend to work with that?
What cams?
Bore to 2.0? Read somewhere you can overbore and fit vauxhall c20 xe pistons?
The exhaust is already a performance one.
Port work?

Any ideas/recommendations etc would be great! I am not too clued up on these engines! Around £2k to play with hopefully

take it out and use a 2.0 from a mondeo? what managment is it on atm, throttle bodies are a good rote few 100 if u have managment already , then mapping ,
