Started making wasted spark loom tonight

got to order overbraid and plugs to finish it off

Finished off my steering aswell

twin amp will be at side of flitch

coil pack will sit at the rear of the engine bay under the scuttle panel up high out the way of any water

only messin a little on mine as ive got a few projects on the go

Had a play today as i had to stay local to home

my actuator was hitting the comp housing,So i set out to make one that fits

First off i mocked it up with card

Transfered to 3mm steel

Sides bent round for strength and actuator fitted ( just needs finishing off with 120 on the da)

And as i was on i thought id have a look at making a throttle cable bracket
So i made it on card first

Transfered onto steel

All bent ready for pressed holes in side and welding.
( Finish off next time im in the garage

)

Gonna be prepped then crackle blacked

Actuator bracket going to be blacked or zinc plated
got loads of stuff to go to strippers and platers now

Next update probably be on home made turbo damper just got to get some 8mm rose joints

Grabbed myself a few hours on the car Monday and did a few little job's ive been meaning to do for a while

first off i bought a front diff strengthening plate ages ago and wanted to change the 6mm mounting bolts to 8mm so i drilled and tapped the mounting holes out
and fitted the new studs

then i opened the holes out in the strengthening plate to 8mm

then i opened out the holes in the cover

then i started making an alli plate to accept the focus rs start button and the focus dummy bild button

now as im using a 4x4 centre console i need the plate to be removable as there's a mounting screw underneath to hold the gearstick surround to the centre console.
So i had to come up with a spring clip that will hold it in but can allow it to be removed if needed

tried it a few times and im sure it will do the job just fine

Nearly finished the turbo damper
I was going to tack it up with the mig and get my m8 to tig it up as it's stainless but im gonna paint or powder coat it so no real worry about using mig.

all welded

Thought there was something missing so i added a few joining/strengthening tubes

Had to re-make the actuator bracket to incorpriate the rose joint from the damper.
