Default IMP Blue Fiesta Zetec-S - The Work Begins!!!

Hi All

Thought i'd share some pictures taken of the car after having cleaned her today. The sun was out, and thought, what the hell.

Bought this car over christmas period (xmas just gone). Needs some attention and work has begun to get her to become a gleaming beauty. New air flow meter to sort revv problem, full service, front brake upgrade (mondeo mk2 v6) and steering wheel changes have been made. She also has a cone air filter (fitted when car purchased). It also had two different coloured side repeaters on, so bought some stock ones and put those on. Had a small oil leak (noted when car bought) and this was crank shaft oil seals and so have had those done and all the belts/tensioners, no more leak! .

I want the car to look as 'original' as possible (although will lower). Will be making major performance upgrades over the coming months (funds permitting) and so the project begins.

The car has the usual rust issues around the arches, this is getting progressively worse and will be looked at over the coming months, need to scrape some money together to get it looked at/work started. So, this will be the next purchase and then exhaust system and probably rear disk conversion (with working abs). Also the door hinge, driver side, needs welding as one of them has snapped off (again, noticed when purchased) although it still functions correctly.

Well. . . images below (courtesy of my dad, master mechanic) and watch this space for further upgrades to the project.
