looks like more work to do
hi all its been a while since last posted anything on here i need a new scuttle pannel on and thought id strip the dash out and came across a nasty suprise under the window as seen in pics,i also got given a 20. zetec botom end and efi head nearlly all of whats needed so started stripping the engine bay.going to sell the as much as i can to raise funds for the zvh.

well the engine and box is out now,so just a matter of seeing the lad who does the body work for me,i know what you mean glenny but it will be worth it it the end,its just a long road,did you get it sorted barnard.

Those where pictures from about two years ago Id just got it back from being resprayed an rear arches done and i found that which made me think id just wasted money on a rot box.I had no money left and wonted it on the road so just plated/bodged them up.The car is now back off the road going zetec turbo so will have to attack them propally and scuttle too.Does the wings have to come of too replace the scuttle .

im not sure ill find out soon lol,next job for me is to sell most of the parts from the engine bay,to free up some money to sort the body work out,and then try and get whats needed for the zvh im going to do.

I was doing a zvh in a 1.8 zetec.I had the block coverted and then built it up the other day on skimmed pistons and went to tighten up the last bolt on the water pump and it kept going round so took the pump off and it had pull on the metal and cracked the block.It looked like they had fitted the new waterpump plate in a bad place because they had drilled and tapped in about 3m thick. metal.So im now going 2.0 zt.So if you need zvh bits ive got some if yer interested
