The SCS escos gets a revamp ! 27/5 engine update !
Well, near two years now i think of constant track day abuse and we thought the escos would do well with a little revamp
so today, i set about attacking it
heres a few pics of todays progress

first off,
driveshafts

next thing was the exhaust to gain access to the gearbox
so out with the ffd

as the ffd box splits in two bits like the t5 2wd cossie box,
next bit was the magnesium bell housing

clutch and flywheel next, forgot to take pics
but that allowed me to get to the 8 1/" inch front diff

so, with all the transmission all out the way, a few pipes later this little beauty popped out the top !! The 600hp lump thats powered us round for the two past years without one problem

ill be in again tomorrow cleaning the whole lot down, going over every pipe checking theyre ok, removing the loom for mods and removing the dash too so more tomoz
going to be a slow project over the next month but ill keep you informed with pics

Right todays work !!
dash is looking a bit bleak so going to be flocked to tidy her up abit,
heres pics of everything i ripped out
whilst at it i took the engine loom out, and it was attatched to the car loom,,,
or so i though started taking plugs off that i didnt need to pmsl so went back together
anyways enough chit chat
right first out, stack dash made for malcolm wilson with built in pectel monitor

no, no paint this time round, want to get the arches sorted sometime as they were a bit of a rush job for ford fair but hey, its a track car not a bufty
the engine bay is going to get a well deserved clean up and the tanks going to be powder coated and a new colour scheme under there

if you do have your dash flocked and have not got some one to do it give raj at autoflock motorsport a call on 07894636707 and see if he can help as i have just had my dash done it looks great and he is a very helpful chap and has a great turn around time.

iv just done the same with mine mate,its amazing how manky they get after a couple of years of abuse ah???i should have it all back together by next weekend...

engine wise, its gonna be the same but different
nothing as mental as andrews thats a bit much as i drive it and my brother will be next in the seat and something responsive is nice for us to drive ya know but should still be a chunk quicker
as said will report back once engines been dyno'd wont say much for now

lol ! that was with a proper arch roller.. but where it had a new quater on the lip was just cut and folded under ! so when rolled it came out terrible !
that was on the cards though, but due to wanting it done in four weeks so we can go map it and then get to central day its staying as is, say it alot, at the end of the day, it is a track car and is gonna get damaged anyway so just use it and abuse it, repair when needed lol
