Default MY NEW 2k SAPH 4X4 PROJECT

As alot of you will no i traded in my erst and 750 cash, So heres the thread for the saviour of my new much loved Saph 4X4 Cossie.
Got started on the her (yet to be named) today, I got a full exhaust fabricated and made up, Investigated the front offside knock on the wheel and discovered that one of the sliders on the brakes lost its threads, so had to helicoil caliper, but this doesnt seem to have stoped the knocking! Further investigation is now needed.Definately hit a curb as its a new bottom ball joint arm. and a nasty 3inch gash in the alloy. Also managed to wire brush and sholtz the underside of the car this was the first 10 pound spent, exhaust was made up of existing stock (yet to be heat wrapped).
Heres some before and after pics to keep you happy...

well bodged lol
who ever did that want scared!!!

solved the knocking on the f/o/s. it was the bottom ball joint bolt, it was bent and worn it was also in the wrong way round it was catching on full lock. sorted know. put my full vibe sound system in aswel sounds well.

this car seems to be all about putting right rough workmenship, at least shes in lovin hands now.
also plumbed in the amal valve which has helped alot, still hits fuel cut on build up in high gears worser when warmer, not so bad when its only been running 5mins, so this points me to fueling (more fuel on cold srart up choke ect) needs R/R really wanted to get a t34 before R/R, get in done all at once after shes been re wrapped i recon. gona investigate the n/s electrick windows

It would be wise to get it running spot on first. Standard Shark tooths would look spot on and there pretty cheap to buy.

not using car its at my lockup, might be worth nipping it up to cortenmillers (our local r/r centre) 60bucks an hour, get him to give us a break down on the old girl, see if he can work his magic.
took the airfilter hose off and the impleller has 2 sets of finns is this normal for a standared turb.
what do you guys do with all the wiring that runs across the bulk head at the top of the engine, looks alfully messy, can it be put behind out of sight.
