Default Turbo Ka

Hi, new here so forgive me if i miss anything out thats obvious.

Will soon have a 2L RST engine to drop in the front of my Ka, including the box, loom etc. Only things i will need engine wise are the dizzy and ht leads, and an intercooler set up.

Few questions though, i'm guessing intercooler wise i'll just need to look for something like samco hoses and any kind of intercooler that will fit?

Next question, exhaust wise, i dont have a clue where to start looking, any suggestions. Was hoping i could maybe find something down the local breakers to get me going (Poor student you see) but not sure about sizes to fit the Ka, just know that it needs to fit a 3 inch downpipe.

Also, i'm just putting a set of mondeo v6 brakes on, front and rear, but need to convert the rear drums to discs, easy job?

Probably more questions to come, just cant thinks right now.

Any help is appreciated.

Marty

i ve built 3 ka turbos all of varying power levels very nice cars, handle well they will suprise alot of people on road and track!

rear discs are simple bolt drums off and bolt focus 2.0 stud axles on and focus hand brake cable

master cylinder you may have issues with, when upgrading the brakes!

id use the ib5 box from the ka they work pretty well and you keep all original mounts etc!

As much as i would love a custom exhaust, my skint student bank account cant really stretch that far! lol.

Reckon a trip to the breakers might be in order, but is it possible to take one off a fiesta, focus etc? So long as it fits the 3 inch downpipe.

mk3 fiesta was the only one with a turbo

Got a mate with a welder? shouldn't be too hard to modify an exhaust off a ka/fiesta.

Yeah, i emailed them a while back asking advice and they never got back to me :/

But, the kit i'm getting comes with everything, engine, box, fuel pump, loom etc, the only thing i'm needing to sort is the engine mount which i've been told can be made to fit with a little manual labour.

But, still if you wouldn't mind me getting in touch to see what left over parts you have that would be appreciated.
