Got some LEGAL plates and gave her the waxing of her life. Took 3.5 hours. :P
Fitted some OSRAM NightBreakers.
Not overly impressed. They seem to point the light in funny places. Might just be the aftermarket headlamps though.

I sprayed the front grilles black and removed the foglamps.
And yes. The bumper is on the piss a bit and one of the bonnet bump stops was set higher than the other for some reason.
I also fixed the common idling problem by replacing the connector on the power steering circuit. Bye bye sounding like a t*** at 2k rpm at the traffic lights!

Got a bit done on the car today while I had some spare time between sleeping and playing COD.
Partially stripped it with help from Frodow and I'll continue with it next week whenever I'm not working.
Have a pic:

Few photos I found on my phone from summer:
Clean on the outside:
Filthy underneath :
Reading '09 (Scared ****less that a cracked my sump on the way into the carpark):
My ****ED pads, thanks to some monkey fitting the wrong discs. (Wouldn't even lock up under hard braking on gravel.)
Black enough to anger your grandparents:

Went home from uni for the weekend just gone. Got some more stripped. Door and boot handle colour coded.
No real big updates just yet. Still waiting for the right time
Thought of a unique idea too. Keep your eyes peeled.
P.s. I'll have pictures next time

Big update! Got a set of H&R's for £270. Fookin bargain!
This box turned up:
I **** myself because they were meant to be H&R's :S
Then this was found so I changed my undies:
Waited about a month and a half to get some spring seats. Finally turned up a day before I was due back to uni so I've not fitted them yet!
Took the opportunity to get the very few aesthetic things sorted.
First on the list was the spoiler:
Not mint, but it's way better than what was on it before. Managed to drop one of the nuts inside the boot skin.... That's gonna come back to haunt me.
Then the boot handle:
Door handle:
General filth:
Removed ZS badge:
Bot more strippage, rear cards still to come out:
Where she's been sitting for the last 6 months:
Full set of DMB's on:
Cleaned up the coilies, no leaks, dents or anything so that's looking good. Only the springs are a little corroded on the surface but that's nothing. May get them epoxy coated at some point.
Centre caps went from this:
To this:
and I have a huge amount to get done before my MOT:
Brake Drums,
Brake Shoes,
Lower Arms,
Fuel Filter,
Oil filter,
Oil,
Spark plugs,
New wipers all round,
H&R coilovers,
Alllllllllll the fluids,
New earth strap,
Axle spacers,
Exhaust wrap the sports cat and flexi to see if it'll get me through MOT legally :shhh:
Degrease and clean engine bay,
Clean whole car and remove swirl marks.
Busy busy busy!

Day 2:
-Rear coilies fitted,
-Arches Hammerited,
-Charged battery although I may have to get a new one
-Started removing side strips,
-Started taking apart headlights,
-Masked up the mirrors,
-Got filthy, swore a lot, bled a little.
A taste of things to come!:
ELECTRIC ORANGE
Also noticed that the front coilies are twisting when the wheel is turned so I need to sort that out.
More updates shortly.

Past couple of days have been pretty uneventful.
Headlights are looking good. Mirrors are looking gold rather than orange and my car is being a pig and I can't get 2 of the bolts off each lower arm. DAMMIT!
Anyway, I didn't have enough time to do shoes or drums so I made an exhaust video with some lovely condensation and soot being thrown at my phone

Yeah it pulls a lot harder than the 1.6, I also find myself a lot less worried about blowing it up as the old 1.6 SE isn't particularly strong!

Ah very nice. I had Jack on ZSOC do mine. Well happy with it. I take it yours has the tape Ecu ready for the Puma map?
I'm not sure what my plans are at the moment. I can't really afford anything for the time being lol.
I shall have to get PF. ZS's have had a lot of features this year, It's awesome!

We got it running with a Dive Ecu.... then swapped it for a Tape Ecu (Ollie knew he had one but had to find it)
Just got to find time and Ollie will fit the Cams for me - then its off to Tremona garage for the map...
