Fattys Series 1 Rebuild..FINALLY! upate.. Monday
hi guys,
ive been on here a while annoying people while ive been waiting for my car to get back from the body shop..FINALLY after 15 months shes back lol
Spec Before the dismantle was..
S1 1986
non custom
Leccy Window conversion
Cosy Rear Disc Conversion
Stage 2 Hybrid Turbo
Bilstein Coilovers
Piper Cam
minty interior
65 k on the clock
Plans are to put it back together as it was trying to go original where poss.
Running gears been powder coated , metal bits zinc coated , you know the score..lol
here are some pics if anyones interested..any feedback / advice greatly appreciated

here it was before..

not alot wrong with it to be honest, had a lil bubble on the wings and the bonnet was a bit scabby inside, took it down the body shop ,..got a bit carried away..new wings, arches, bonnet later + full respray..floors mint .

going steel rods, pistons, got stage 3 race head ready, pace intercooler, vernier pulley , rebuilt turbo then hunt around for chip .
Cosy 4 pots to go up front aswell
was running 187bhp b4 on standard internals so it wasnt shy

thanks dude, its 95% mint. im doing the best i can with the budget and bits etc. theres always going to be little bits that could be better but ive got to be realistic. Few touch ups needed on paint work, expect there to be a few more after its built..would prefer a larger workspace etc..

Few more bits to get powder coated , anti roll bar , coil over springs etc.
Need to take the inner cv's for reman apparantly they're not availiable off the shelf .
Pistons and rods next...
just spilt coffee on the keyboard...bastard..lol

cool ..ill have to look into what the best way forward as regards ecu's is..
ive been nosing around 'unlimited boost' ones , and 'super chipped' ones ,..need a bit more research..also some people say the s1's ones are better etc..need a bullshit filter to get the best result lol..whats yours mate?
