well not done anything on shell over weekend ,satday i was busy doing other things

how ever i just won a drivers side wing on ebay so that finishes the panels off

back in garage 2 morro afternoon

well had some more bad news fella that was making me bosses has left his works so carnt make them well he made one lol ,finished me paper work so just heading in the garage now

well done a bit more removed mosta bulkhead bit more on passenger side an pick up points for front crossmember took a while do them ,marked up for me holes in back for rear beam mounts ,stuck now as i carnt get hole new inner sill

note the dolly wheels lol




this is only ruff cut still needs bit outa floor an bulkhead

no worries ian ,the worst bit is the front chassie were front crossmember bolts to ,mind you my nine inch grinder on its way out took some cutting even with diamond disc lol,im away from wensday till monday so youl catch up easy

if you got 4 inch grinder get a diamond blade for it i use one on both grinders never need change disc then you go throw loads normly cutting discz other wise

well tryed alot panel places to no joy must be ford part only ,even rang the scrap yards i no in darlo,wouldnt mind but i had section inner sill that was on me other cars rs quarters i got of geoff new i shuda kept them

mite have try some scrapys warrington area while im down this week see if they can cut me one out

its the inner sill i carnt get , its same as me other shell an that not a rs shell ,the outa sill i can use a stander one as the quater part repairable ,

i can get one them for 45 quid lol (outa)

They will cut it out for you as i all so use them a lot and iv sean cars cut in half in the . i got the front parts for my fouc shell from there 40 pound . O they will cut it out with GAS

well i had rob an calvz down t nite got a lot done big thanks lads
had few beers an an manged get the car on the jig, after bita messing bout, mabe my measurements mainly been the back beem mounts i must been out but we sorted with the grinder lol

i finished early to day so got the tunnel cut up ready. My scrap pile growing now.

i didnt think it would go on jig with sill damaged but for got we made it to sit on the very ends the chassie legs, so panik over dont need sill so quick ,so will repair after








the pics on screen just refrence( carnt spell) as me other shell not near by




it took a while to get in on jig rob lift one end me calvz on other but we managed

next thing is to mess with tunnel bulk head get that lined up but i have mounts on my jig to add me

thats it for now mite get bit done before i go down warrington till monday so no playing at the weekend

thats coz this bulkhead done different to mine ,its barrys shell most pics of ,and some of mine to eash side the window screen

the reason being im using the heater matrix out the focus for this one so cut different to my focos bulkhead as mine doznt ya see kinda like you have pics mine

ps look in sig below you'l get what i mean

my mate used to deal in landrover spares, last time i was there he had one upstairs think it was discovery ,but the way my luck is it will have gone so the mk5 will do, mind you look in a hadrians panels book there a few to use

well i have morning off to day as going down warrington later an had get shower an few other things packed im me van

got bit done the box section for strenght really will be geting plated other ,i was gna use think sheet metal do the job but its a rite pain to cut eithen tho i have plasma cutter,so now i can just use thin tin to box it in















as i say this will all be coverd over with sheet steel



thats as far i got me fecking welder desided it dont wana work any more think this car cursied

its kinda easy when you have jig ,lot harder with out ,me welds woulda been neater had me welder not kept stoping starting while welding then just packin in all t gether ,another bill form snapon to fix it if they can
