I was thinking the same on my track car what about modifying the rear drive shafts? with supra ends one end and cosworth ends the other, solid mount it to the original holes on the rear bracket and then all you need is some home made brackets and the tailshaft modified to fit supra input shaft.
This is what i may be looking at having to do on mine as cosworth parts are rare here. And the ones i do have i don't want to abuse, i need them to keep for the road car as spares.

Coley what size of pipes and dash fittings did you use on the Attessa pump i have to make some new ones? are they 2 different sizes.

We both used a company called Pirtek. The return to the reservoir and feed to it are both low pressure and you can literally find a hose that can carry the oil. (my invoice says EN 854 delivery hose)

The pressure one to the back of the box needs to handle min 500psi but the Pirtek ones run over 250 bar. I just took them in the end that goes in to the box with less than 1 inch of pipe on it and they fitted a banjo the other end, I asked for 1m with a t piece to another meter and I have a gauge in the car to see what the pump is doing.

I hope this helps...Do you have a Pirtek over there and do you have the banjo on the pump end and the bit that screws in to the box for the other end?

I just looked at your pic of the stuff on the flat bed of the trailer / ute and you have got the Banjo end on the pump so as long as you have the one that goes in to the box then you are good to go. It would be long winded and probably expensive but if you get stuck you can post it to me with a measurement for how long you want it and I will go to where I got mine from and then post it back to you when done.

Thanks, Yes we have Pirtek over here and i work in an underground mine site so hydraulic pipes are everywhere, its not a problem getting them done and thanks for the offer. i was more interested in the size of the end, that is the SAE or dash size. I have the banjo bits and have done all the low pressure side I can actually get a bango with dash threads and then just get the fitters at work to knock up me pipes. The banjo is i think dash 8 ( -8) Threads in the pump i think are 5/8 inch with 18 threads per inch. When i get the bit i will post up picks, I do have the bit and the pipe that goes into the gearbox.

I don't think the tunnel needs to get much wider, just a bit, it just needs about 8-10 inches of the same bulge but further back....extend what is there if you get my drift.

The front skyline prop is thinner than the cossie one, prop shaft services made me a replica with the cossie diff end on it.

No dramas, got a guy on the UK GTR site and he said he will sell me an R32 4X4 box, front bellhousing for 50 quid. so i will go with that for now. will also get the front of the 4X4 escort box picked up as well, and then sent for fabrication. Its All Good.
I know where you are coming from i have 3 other 4x4 GTR boxes and 2 4X4 escos boxes in my garage here in OZ and wont sell any of them either. Plus the one in the road COSSY.

Hi all just a small update as the focos has never been mapped and running on a Base map it was about time I got it done . Well I did some asking on here how to use as I'v all ways used Martin Hadland . And NMS was put my way so I made a phone call and got it booked in . We dropped it off to Karl a week on Friday gone and picked it up on Friday night and thank god Karl got all the car set up and mapped 100% but as he was doing it he told me the turbo was playing up a bit . Well on the way home the turbo let go big time it spat a blade off the rear of the terbin witch tuck out the the bearings and out come lots of oil so I had to limp it the 45 miles home it was like some thing from a 007 film smoke all over the place lol. Any way over the weekend we put a spare on the car witch is my mate Rexs turbo and tuck the car out for a run and to say I'm over the moon is a under statement Karl has done a fantastic job on the car and I will recommend him to any one wonting there cars set up get in tuch with him

Thanks lads it was on the fast ford stand . And on track two times first outing went well just but when we come back in it was running a bit Ruth and hunting well we could not sort it so we went out for the second track time and it was going well for 4 laps then a turbo pipe split and I lost 75% of the boost but it was still running ok so I just stayed out for a bit of fun . And I'm glad I did as on 3 of the corners the car was 4 wheel drifting witch was doing my head in and it was not till we come in it hit me I was running the gear box all most locked up at 200psi I should of put it to about 100psi as when your turning the front and rear run diforent lines so the gearbox needs to slip to let the car grip but as I had it as good as locked up it could not slip so the wheels had to slip it's all a learning cerv
And we did a diff as we lol

A bit of your turbo gone through that pipe?

Without re-reading all your post, how are you controlling your diff? no G/YAW input?
Car looks great btw

Your car was great on track Ian

Well done on building an awesome car

Question for you.......... Is it difficult to swap the bellhousings on these skyline boxes yourself? Or does that section just unbolt and slide off?

Cheers

I haven't done it yet but I think you unbolt the input shaft cover, remove a circlip and then unbolt and slide off. You lose the oil when you unbolt the input cover so drain it first. The drain plugs are a mare on some so dose in wd40 many times
