Default my focus project!

this car seems to have turned from a daily driver to a bit of a project so thought it was time to start a thread on it!

Ive had the car for about 6months now and its time to change things abit!

This is how the car looks at the moment, just as i bought it. Im not a big fan of the wheels, so there coming off soon!

Last week i managed to buy a 4branch manifold that was goin cheap. it is stainless but looked pretty dirty when i got it.

After a bit of blasting!

Then a spray with some heat resistant black, looks far better now. Im planning on heat wrapping it before fitting it to the car.

Im still waiting on more parts being deliverd:

Full milltek stainless single box system, with rs style tail pipe.
k&n panel filter
Genuine Focus RS gearknob haha! saw it on ebay and had to buy it!
Smoked side repeaters
Will add more later!

Going for a look at a set of old style 17" OZ superturismo's next week, think they would suit the car quite well if refurbed in black or dark silver/gunmetal.

Also going to lower the back of the car slightly more aswell and it doesnt really match the front!

Im also on the look out for a pair of st170 smoked headlights, a set of smoked tail lights and a spoiler! if any body has any lying around?

Future Plans:
St170 brake conversion
Coilovers? and poly bushes
Strut braces
Cams, head work and remap, maybe look into RS conversion or supercharger.
Focus RS interior or bucket seats.

And likly more!

I think shes lowered 60mm in the front and 40mm in the back.. but the back springs will be gettin chopped to match the front! haha!

Just untill i get a set of coilovers..

I payed £100 for the manifold and the pipe with the flexible section (also stainless) that goes up over the subframe. not bad i thought!

Just cant wait to get it fitted along with the ful milltek system! should sound quite nice

Just noticed that i never said the car is a 2.0 esp, just so you know!

Ive orderd a set of trailing arm front-most bushes, rear anti-roll bar links and bushes from Energy Suspension! These are all poly bushes.

Nice car mate! Never seen a lift like that before, is it nice and sturdy? Be a bit scared to go under it if it were me

Cheers mate! yeah its really sturdy, far better than i thought it would be! Its got a safety system on it so it cant fall, it looks more dodgy in the photo than it really is haha! The car is so low, that ive got to drive it up onto wood to get the lift under the car..

Should get a few more pics up soon
