So here begins my new project. Building a gravel spec rally Ka for my dad with a shell he's got in frs blue. Think 200bhp from a 1600 zetec se in a tin can As I've said I'm gonna use the fiesta zs engine in a fairly high state of tune attached to the ka ib5 box with a big dirty clutch and a FRP LSD. Sparco cage, coilovers (possibly avo), two seats and harnesses. Pretty much it ANY suggestions will be much appreciated. Got the gearbox, diff and shell so far

the only way you will get 200bhp from a zetec s engine is to go down the shawspeed route

thats....

• ss5 cams
• loads of head work
• throttle bodies
• omex management
• HD big end bolts
• HD valves and springs
• forged inards

hope that helps as im doing the ss4's on throttle bodies which will see me around 160bhp

That's where i've been looking pal, had no idea how tuneable the se was till I visited their site What have you got it in? Are you running standard management?

Ive got a full sparco cage brand new never fitted. Brand new with all fittings.Want 450 for it if its any good to ya?

mine is in a mk5 zetec s i have a thread on here mate check it out

at the moment i got ss4 cams(blanks)
msd chip
omex rev limiter
omex launch control
but when i have my bodies fitted i will have omex 600 managment

my bodies were delivered today :P

and jon at shawspeed is a top bloke and is the nuts!!

yea it goes well! its like v tec at 4500rpm

will be a right tool when the bodies are fitted
