Just got this quick shift from burton power looks nice but don't know if it's any good.
Does anyone use one or know what there like?

when i had my box done at compertition transmissions i was told by them not too use a quick shift on a t5 as u then tend too beat the syncros and this just wears them out! Got the big tooth kit in mine standard shifter seems fine to me

i was thinking when i bought it that i havent seen many people using them.

done a little bit in the garage after a service on my van was finished.
fitted the steering column all ready for the wheel to go on.

also got the handbrake working.

and just had to fit the petrol cap, dont know why.

When its done if it looks like a normal mini I will be impressed, the problem with converted nutter mini's normally is the front end is all long and wide and out of proportions so it doesn't work in my eyes.

This looks ace though.

yeah your right there, would always like it so you wouldnt notice but i had to use an extended front end to fit inter cooler and rad in.
i dont think it looks to bad see what you think?

She looks well - the cage looks pony though lol, remember you'll be doing 7x the speed of a normal mini when you roll it into a ditch lol.

me and my cousin built a mid engine mini with an mr2 turbo as a donor and it was crazy used to wheelie at the pod when changing gear

it used to run low 11's with slicks a remap and 50 shot nos

hello people not in the garage this weekend, but did manage to drop the engine off at scs friday for a full rebuild should come back like new, they certainly no what their doing up there.
should have engine and gearbox back to fit in a month

had a day in the garage today didnt do loads but got the carbon fiber door cards on.

also cut and reshaped the rear quarter cards and sound deadened behind them trying to keep the noise down a little.

Yeah so am I, but I'm going to have to wait for a while yet, should be done by summer next year haven't got the money or time to finish it any sooner.
