Had a great day at the show today the weather was really hot all day so i did stuggle.
I done about 5 runs letting the car cool down between runs.
It took a while to get used to the new gearing, and diff, bogging down a little, then too much revs and spinning up. Doh!
Running low 13s all day, but finaly got a decent run and left happy.

Well ive got to say ford fair is a great day out, loads of great cars and people, was good to meet a few of you off the forum.
Spent a lot of the day answering questions about the mini dont think most people could believe it fitted. Ha

Im going to try and get on track next year as i saw quite a few non fords on track and even saw a new mini which gutted me a little. Ha















































Thanks to all that sorted the stand out you can put me down for next year.

I looked at this for a good while at Ford Fair, utter mint car and amazing amount of work and money gone into it

Thanks guys was good the put faces to names and im really looking forward to getting it on track in feb.

As a mag feature goes ive already been talking to jim jupp from mini world about a feature im not sure if you would do a feature in both mags.
Ive still got a few bits to do on the car before its ready, paint work etc

Next run out in the car is a piston head run along some great roads across suffolk and norfolk, were starting from cambridge: check it out and come along if you can its a great day out with some like minded people with some lovely machinery.

hi folks, got the car out Saturday and took it over to Norwich for a go on the rolling road to check that all is well with engine and mapping since its been done.

it went well apart from the last run which was full boost which we had to abort because of a misfire
all the mapping / engine mixture all looks good so no worries there

Had a blast out in the mini sunday with a few cars from piston heads, all sorts of cars from classics to super cars.
I had a great blast home with my brother in his R1 kit car and a mate in a nissan gtr.

How does it compare to your brothers?

Yeah i might purchase one soon as ive got a track day coming up.

They are about the same if mine is on low boost which is about 250bhp at the wheels, but his is only geared for about 125mph flat out so mine has the longer legs..

If i wind the boost up to 360 then its a bit quicker but his car is dame quick in and out of the corners, great fun when we go out for a blast.
