Cool, My garage should be empty for the easter weekend so maybe arrange to get it here then?
Ron, just make sure Steve cuts as little as possible off the loom so i don't have 100's of bare wires to sort through, OR at least label them lol!
Thats going to be fun for me to climb around in especially once painted, looks like i'll need to get some extra soft jogging bottoms and socks so i don't scratch anything!
Good to see the pics up ,gadge i dont think it will be painted that soon, only went there wed,im sure steve labled them before he cut through them with the axe

how do you want me to take the loom out mate? i was planning to just grind the bulkhead off so i dont have to pull the wires through lol. im looking forward to seeing you work your magic on the car mate.
right im looking for different peoples opinions on a idea ive had. im thinking of converting the car to 2wd but im unsure on how it will drive.you here people say 2wd cossies are a handful so do you think with its shorter wheelbase and obviously bein much lighter will make it even worse? cheers.
id say 4x4 steve, 2wd will be fun for a little while to show off with etc, but on track it will be an absolute handfull if pushing hard, plus you can always change to 2wd at a later date if you go 4x4,
as for transmission, remember you will be a hell of a lot lighter than an escort cosworth so if a cossie can happily handle 350bhp weighing 1300-1400kg's then your fiesta weighing alot less should be fine if good condition parts are used to start with,
get a front diff checked over/rebuilt to as new by bara with a decent strengthening plate,
2wd 7.5" rear diff checked over and rebuilt as new
get the g/box checked/rebuilt and centre vc wound back up to a decent nm setting and without too many hard launches it should last should be all done for under 1k and see how you get on,
