right heres some more pics.have not been able to finnish bonnet so started to strip engine.got the inlet manifold ,cam cover and alternator smoothed for bead blasting.plan is to have all the engine components painted.also pics with bumper on,back end looks very different, with a few subtle mods to the bumper it should look very good.

used to run my own business moding cars but was not going in the right direction,so closed it down and got back into the stuff i believe in,proper modded cars.

I've traded the mondeo for a transit now. Needed a tow vehicle/camper van for track days. I'll bob down and say hello sometime.

it will look ace when its done but be aware that it will drive like an absolute sack of sheite!
i had a mk5 on 18's with an 80mm drop on modded arches and rose joints and it was terrible.
you need to have indipendant rose jointed suspension and alot of front castor to make it go in a straight line.

It's patiently waiting in the wings, i may restore it to live axle spec, as i have a 2.8i capri with lsd i can use as a donor car, or put the sierra floor in.
I'll see what i'm left with when the underside gets blasted.

sorry if i dont get it but why should it drive like a sack of shite.it runs on standerd susspension only lowered 60mm.my old van was droped the same amount it drove fine.why should large rims make any differance, they are only rolling as its front wheel drive.the only thing that will make it ride different is the ultra low profile tyres on the rear.dont forget i have moved the beam up 2" to compinsate for the larger wheels,so in fact its as if it came from the factory.im not surprized yours drove like a sack of shite on a 80mm drop and rose joints.the ride is always going to be compramised with rose joints.rose joints are best suited for the track, not for the road.

heres a few pics from today.got the lazor cuts welded in so the rear beam is now mounted.

allso have had to use a mk5 fiesta fuel tank as the escort one wont fit as the beam has been narrowed.this is now has all the new mounts welded in.even the sender unit out the escort tank fits in the fiesta tank.the only problem is the fuel filler neck is on the other side,no problem as wanted to relocate this any way to clean up drivers side back wing.

[IMG]http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk77/fastty01/IMGP3590.jpg[/IMG
should get a bit more done tomorrow.
