Default Insurance want to pay out

Hi,

Two days ago a neighbour slid into the os corner of my mk6 Escort Van,

Now the insurers say it will cost £619 to repair and don't want to do it,

so they have offered either £700 for the van or £619 and i keep the van, and it doesn't get written off

I think i'll take the £619 and fix it myself

i can see it needs a headlight/indicator, front bumper and wing

My only question is are the wings welded on? if so whereabouts?

Thanks
James

Ok, thanks

Do you think a 6mm spot-weld drill would be good for drilling them out?

Thanks
