Yes it made a straight 500bhp and 437lbs of torque.

I will have to edit the title now, lol
Untill next year when it will get a new twin scroll exhaust manifold and a borg warner turbo.

Thats a good figure Justin, would imagine that to be a nice usable power for a road car so what boost was that at?

i was expecting a bit more but will push closer to 600bhp next year with a borg warner turbo
its got one of marks cams in it

Justin what does it drive like on the road, does the turbo come in nice and early or is it relatively laggy even though a BB??

I wouldn't get hung up on the power figure mate as rolling road power figures will drive you mad chasing - i'm sure Mark has mapped it perfectly and likely to show up anything that would dare to try.

i dont have the car back yet but i can give you a rough answer

i've had a normal t4 on the engine and mapped by msd, i thought it drove nice of boost felt a little laggy but not to bad
i then swapped changed the turbo for a rb t4 with a .82 ex housing and external wastegate, i had'nt drove it for a while but it felt worse that the normal t4
that might have been because it wanting setting up or bigger ex housing

then i fitted the gt30, hart plenum and sm4 ecu altogether, still the same engine and not mapped for my engine and i could tell straight away, it spooled much better the both t4's, like night and day.

i will give you a better answer when i get it home

Sounds good Justin, looking forward to getting mine finished now did Mark mention anything about this turbo as Dave only got 500 out of his with all the same bit's so is this turbo actually restrictive around 500? or is it more to do with internal gate?

he did say these turbo's are a 500bhp turbo but has had one make more power but called it a freek.
when i took it down he said 500 to me, and i said get as much as possible. there is a different gt3076 available that cr turbos do and it's totally different to mine. its on gaz's white escort from the escort site and his made 550 but was much bigger than mine, looked like a gt35.

The power you got from yours is the kind of power i'd like from mine, after seeing a few different ones done on our spec i was expecting around 470 but that was more than enough as i didn't want to go too stupid and have a car that wasn't usable.

I think i would go for a GT3071 if i didn't have the turbo ready to go on as their isn't a massive amount of difference between yours and Rich's

i get graph up asap mate,
i was thinking leaving my car with mark and buying the gt35 from rsmark86 but will go for the borg warner next year, mark said it will spool up quicker and make more power

Personally i wouldn't bother as 500/437 is decent power but i can see that the power figure you aimed for hasn't been hit and to leave it at 500 hasn't reached the goal you set out to hit.

Why not just bite the bullet and go for the Borg now and it's done whilst Mark has it or isn't it released until then?

car looked lovely in marks today mate.. cant he run more boost through it to give it a bit more power.. dropped mine off this morning for mapping in the pissing down rain.. mines got the 3076 and made the same power as yours when mapped at reyland last year at 2bar and am hoping it can run more boost this time round.. then ill be going for the same inlet and intercooler as yours when funds allow..

I still have the body work to finish but was wanting it to run properly.
I'm going to ask mark about the boost controller because it peaks more but drops off.
I know with air injectors you can hold the same boost right to the top if mapped, but with the boost control I have now I'm not so sure.

Do you not run the autronic boost valve with yours then mate. I thought these were the best to use with this set up. Mine was on air injectors with the old l8 and ran 2bar.
