Fiesta RS Turbo H544 PTH Project Thread!!
The plan is to turn her into a track car and do the odd show.
I purchased the car in may this year always loved red fiesta rs turbos and this came up had a nice tidy spec so i went for it.
The spec was as follows:
Engine
1600 cvh, Omex management, Newman cam, Beige injectors, Escort T3 turbo, Cosworth fuel pump, Pro alloy intercooler, Samco hoses, K&N air filter and Mongoose exhaust.
Interior
Standard interior with custom guage holder.
Suspension
Koni ajustables, OMP front and rear strutbraces.
Brakes
Cosworth Calipers with EBC discs and green stuff pads.
Braided brakes hoses.
Bodywork
Standard fiesta rs turbo still with green stripes and custom cut front bumper for the intercooler.
These are the pictures when i first brought the car.
Hope you guys like the pics all comments welcome.
When i first brought the car i took it to my mates garage to check her over and noticed a big hole in the radator caused by the bigger turbo being put on.
So had a service and replaced these items:
Airtec stage 2 50mm core rad, Zetec starter motor, vibratech gearbox mounts, orignal orange inticators, smaller pulsar acuator aswell as having a service and fixing the wiring to the fan.
Since then ive seemed to have bad luck the gearbox went which i manged to replace with a fresh rebuilt one i found on ebay good find.
Then was having a bit of a play and the car shot out all this smoke when i was coming down the duel carrage way manged to come off at the next exit where the engine seemed to rev by itself the revs just going up and up i turned it off and got recovered back home but just wont start,since lack of funds i havernt found out the problem so just started stripping the car ready for inspection more pics will be posted up soon.

rs hagi has it changed much since you owned it were you the one to do all the work would be nice to know how it was to you and more history about the car get bk to me mate

The car used to belong to a guy on Fiestaturbo.com, I cant remember his username off the top of my head. He used to message me all the time asking me how the car was when he found out a mate of mine had it. Best bet would be to post on there and see if he is still there. He will be the man to get more info.

Hes called rob pace.
I did alot of work like the frontmount, brakes, put the lsd box in it, got it set up at motorsport developments did all sorts of things with the car, it looks quite different now to when i had it but still very lovly

lovly motor mate ver very pretty, your problem sounds like your turbo oil seal has let go and the oil has gone down the inlet coz if the engine is hot then it can run itself on the oil and not stop. be fore you pull it apart do a compression test and check the turbo pies and turbo, jon

My old car too!! Nice to see it again. I brought it off rs hagi (sorry cant remeber you name) did a lot off work on it and spent lots of £££ as i think everyone who owned it has.. Sold it to a guy in leighton buzzard area.

Block was studded with arp bolts, metal uprated head gasket recon head and fitted it with a newman cam and soild lifters. Apart from that it was standard. Hope this helps.

the engine has gone now sorry
i had 10 sets of them speedlines had em on a few of my cars they look mint on the frs thats why hagi got em coz they where different
