No they are 17's - Pm sent with pictures as someone has recently pulled out of the sale
Your wish is my command: (In rough date order)
awesome. . . to the amount of cossys that have been chopped up for floorpans for focus's, rwd escorts and other things. I think one more for someone who wanted to do something different and have something unique you have to give credit for...excellent.
pitty cant have more pics of interior fabrication etc etc

Unfortunately the work you see isn't mine. I'm getting them to do all the fabrication then I will do the brakes, wiring, engine refurb and all the plumbing back together.
As for updates, the steering is sorted, pedal box is in an the front end is taking shape. There will be pictures come monday which will help explain things.

Been down today to have a look about and things are moving forward...
Pedal box is in but still needs finishing..
Steering is the same...
Although I think to get in and out a quick release wheel is a necessity.. thats more to add to the shopping list.
The bonnet is being addressed at the moment.. although things are going to be mighty tight under the hood!
lets just hope the intercooler fits..
and abit of rust was sorted...
hopefully come this friday a delivery date will be agreed, then I can do the extra labour intensive bits and get it on the road.

Well I bought the biggest arches I could find (mega miglia) and even they will have to be extended by 2" or so.
I know this isnt the greatest of pictures as theres nothing next to them for scale, but the arches below are around 7.5" wide.

As for the weight your guess is as good as mine as no real limits were set, however once on the road it will be corner weighted to help with handling.

This friday I will know when im getting it back, but as to when it is, is questionable. But I just keep on telling myself that its best not rushing these things. Do it once, do it right! (coughs about buying the wrong pedal box!)
When I get it back, it will have the front end fitted with intercooler and rad (no pipe work), arches fitted, prop fitted, fuel tank mounted, seats fitted, harness mounts fitted, exhaust and a couple of other things...
Then all I have to do is get some brakes under the wheels and route the brake pipes, fit perspex, sort the wiring, sort the fuel lines, sort out the door handles, sort header tank, fit breather system, oh and rip apart the engine and give it a new lease of life, oh and swap out the gearbox.
Ive got plenty to get on with and suspect that there will be a few head scratching moments, but thats all part of the fun isnt it!? lol
