Car looks good mate, good colour choice too

that plug is for the iscv (idle speed control valve) Myself and most people i know just leave them unplugged. You'll find it wont like cold starting without it plugged in though. I usually start it plugged in then disconnect 2 minutes later, revs much more freely. you can sort your reving/idling issue by replacing your iscv but my mate just bought one and it was £60 from ford!

re fuel gauge tap the tank with a rubber mallet it's the sender unit sticking

had this on a mates xr3i efi he went over a high speed bump and cuaght tank as he went over it fuel gauge starting working correctly

also re the iscv you can take them off and clean them up and replace them and they work find again they also can be adjusted also to get it set correctly too

also you might have mfi clocks instead of efi ones mate

hi mate need a big favour can you take a pic of the fuse box as i need to no wot relays i have missing cos mine int sparking or fuel pump not working.
