finally after a year of looking i have had the time to find the gear box leak

it was coming from one of the sensors so i got a spanner and went to tighten it up and was amazed how loose it was!!!! so sorted it out!

also spent half hour painting up the gear box mount and bracket tidys things up a bit under the bay still loads to do :P

looks alot neater if you ask me

wire brushed all the dirt and crap off then just painted it with hammerite smooth lol

you can hardly see it under the battery but it something i guess

did you have any abs issues with the brake upgrade? Are you doing/have you done rear disk conversion, again, any abs issues there?

am thinking/will be doing both, wanted some advice from someone who has already done so. (have found guide on zsoc, and my dad has experience with car moddings etc)

all you need is 3mm spacers to put behind the disc so you clear the abs rings,

i havent done the rears because its to much of a ball ache

fitted my VT mount today and the gearbox is still hitting the strut brace so it must be bent

but it doesnt look that bent!

so i just ordered a new one it was only 22quid so i will give that a go

i used a normal wheel spacer,

but you have to cut the outer ring if you know what i mean so it will fit behind the disc,you culd use washers if you wanted but its a bit ruff lol

just ordered some new gearbox seals ready for when i fit the new l&b flywheel and helix clutch i aslo need a new slave cylinder,buti will order that at the end on the month as im skint!

well i just got back from the garage

was quite a nice job to do,very therapeutic imo lol

i stripped them right back to bare metal to get all the old blue crap off because it was all rough and had some runs in it.i then sprayed them satin black they look like new ford items now!!

it looks alot nicer aswel!anyway pictures...

so i fitted it straight away and the gear box doesnt hit!! whoop :P

so the car is finally back on the road, the VT mount hasnt made any difference to the car at all

aw well im just happy its done

they want to feature my car in the show stopper section of there mag!!!!

i got to go to bristol on the 17th to have the shoot im so happy!!!

so i though it would start to clean the car up gave a good wash and 2 coats of wax today it came out stunning!!! i took a few pictures of my phone ..
