Only a small update toady, as the bonnet raisers are now off i decided to get one of motorsport developments uprated cooling fan control switchs they have just released and also one of there magnetic sump plugs.Whilst i fitted the new switch this evening i also flushed out the coolant system and refilled with 50% ford antifreeze/coolant and a bottle of dei watter wetter. Will now see when i use it next if there are any noticeable changes in temps.

Small update, fitted a new chrome bonnet stay today as the old one had gone manky. My new k&n had turned up over the weekend so remover the pipercross filter and noticed straight away the blades look as though something has hit them? Now the gt30 has only done just over 2k miles and there is a small amount of play in the shaft is this normal??Will let the pics below do the talking

Damaged blades

Will be taking the turbo off and sending it to be rebuilt

Those compressor blades are fubar'd. I'd be taking that off pronto. Has the car ever been driven without a filter on the turbo?

Car is looking superb mate so far, how comes the new cooling fan switch has that connector end? did u just find the ''female'' version to that and joined your wiring loom wire to it?

Gutting about the turbos blades, looks like its also been hitting the rad under acceleration. Sure you'll get it all sorted soon though.

Seems odd if you had a half decent filter on it, Turbo will need a rebuild mate...will be well out of balance.

Whilst i had a bit of time on my hands today, decided to fit my new gauge surround with oil temp gauge and fit my white dials, now im not really a fan of these but as all the gauges are white i thought it would look better if they matched

Old clocks out

During

Back together

Also ordered my new seats so fingers crossed they will be in for central day. There Bimarco ones and fia approved which is good.

Dials dont look too bad at all, where were they from or did u print them yourself from computer?

Ah damn, i was in colchester today for lunch and shopping with the mrs, got drenched a few times, but would of come had a look if i had known or thought at time that u might of been out there working on it.

What you doing with your recaros?, i see your car in readers rides of latest ford mag that i got today and they look in such better condition than mine as mine havent split anywhere but the material on the centers has stretched a bit which always bugs me when i look at them.

Hi mate, no i got the white dials off good old ebay Your welcome to the old seats if your interested wont want alot for them although i will probably be taking the runners off them as will need the bottom parts to fit on my new seats. The recaros are pretty much immaculate and only just had the wet vac'd and cleaned all over.
