How do you find the shocks and springs on yours, are they harsh on the road?
Also what rates are the front and rear springs?
I'm looking at upgrading mine but not sure what to get, was looking at what you got and the ohlins dfv

I find them ok at speed on the road but can be a little harsh around town. I would have to check on spring rates but I'm in Korea justnow. They have been reduced a lot from what Steve ran.
I think Stevo is running the newer Motons that don't have the remote canisters, so a lot easier to install.

Just got my steering wheel back from Royal steering wheels, half leather and alacantara with grey stitching and 12 o clock band. I also got extra padding added to give a better feel when driving.
A bargin at £130 for the retrim

I had the car aligned to settings advised by The Rainge above and it drives so much better on the road.
Also had to have a 5 bar fuel regulator fitted as injector duty was getting close to 100%, the ecu has adapted and taken car of the fueling but I may be getting a retune soon to make the most of the plenum and breathing mods.
So this is how the car sits now
Also picked up a spare cener console and had it painted seal grey

Few recent changes to the interior
I went for a 997 gt3 shifter, and managed to join it to the 996 gaiter to keep the alcantara/leather theme going.
And today i added a set of leather/alcantara GT3/GT2 style seats , at the same time i removed the rear carpets and added some sound deadening underneath to quieten the cabin a little.

Had this in for a winter protection detail this week, and have been in talks with Ken from 9e who build some of the quickest Porsches in europe about some future upgrades.
Plans would be new hybrid turbos, larger injectors, maffles tune and filters mounted above the coolers along with 3 stage adjustable boost. The package is what 9e class as the 9e30 pack , meaning 0-300km in under 30 seconds.

The car is now booked in with nine excellence in a couple of weeks to get there 9e30 package fitted , so will be having hybrid turbos, injectors, boost controller and switchable exhaust fitted.
Cant wait to try it out , less lag, more power and a exhaust that can be switched to 60% straight pipe or be as quite as stock.

For when a regular 996 turbo just isn't quick enough!
Awesome car with you.

With the fixed back seats i now would struggle to adjust the moton suspension canisters for dampening so came up with a solution, using a couple of motorbike front fork indicator mounts.
This moves the canisters from the rear shelf to the cage where they can easily be reached.

Dropped my car off in Horley on Thursday 500 mile drive down and was actually surprised how comfy the fixed back seats were , even more shocked that it did 31mpg on the trip.
Was good to get a look around some of the other cars Nine Excellence have in , was crazy driving into the carpark to see so many 700 - 1200 bhp cars sitting.
I also go a demo of the exhaust I'm having fitted with switchable valves, giving quite or all hell broke loose options. With the valves open 60% of the gases bypass the silencer, so its turbo/ 100 cell cat/6" of pipe out the back lol

Am I right in thinking this is nine excellence in Horley near to Gatwick Airport? If so I have heard a lot of good things about this company. It's barely a 2 min drive down the road from me, beginning to think it's an opportunity missed if I don't get a 911 soon!
Cracking car you have by the way.

Well picked the car up from nine excellence today after its 9e30 conversion. All i can say is WOW .
The car is totally different from the previous K24 set up ,with the power delivery now being so smooth .
The 500 mile drive home had a mix of weather from sun to tropical style downpours so never got a chance to fully test the power, but will say the way it pulls in 6th from 7 mph to 14 mph is staggering.
Its almost funny watching the boost gauge go from 0.1 Bar to 1.3bar in a blur.
With my car already having some other breathing mods it is making boost earlier than the normal conversion so 9e recon it should crack 0-300 kph in around 28 sec.
