Lee after doing 4 hours of B road blasting today, I would say the new suspension has transformed the car and thats before it has even been set up. I would say the ride quality is no worse than my standard Clio 182 cup , it realy has shocked me and after a set up it can only get better
excellent news

I just have the standard exhaust lying Lee but the cats are part of the exhaust , think the standard system runs 300 cell cats your exhaust will have 200 or 100 cell.
And yip the calipers hit on the standard wheels with me running 380mm discs

After selling this car 4 years ago I regretted it since , so last week I bought it back from the guy I sold it to.
Mechanically the car is still mint but cosmetically it needs a bit of a clean up so decided to get on with that before I have to go back to work next week.
Im planning on doing a few changes, mainly things I never got around to last time.
Wheels dropped off today to be split and the centres colour coded to the body this time .
Decided to do the callipers red for a change as they were needing a repaint anyway.
As part of the deal I got a carbon GT2 wing with the car and Porsche Tequipment rear cage, still to pick up the cage but the spoiler is stunning.
With the cage going in and the 996 rear seats being a bit pointless , Im having the rear shells of the front seats colour coded. So after a few brave pills and a internet guide , this happened today.

Picked this up tonight so will give me something to fit while I wait for the rest of the parts coming back from paint and powder coat. Going to have to remove what's left of the front seats to get it in but should look good with the painted seat backs.

Not too bad there is a big pattern part market for them and also a lot of good indy garages for servicing. Even genuine Porsche servicing isn't too bad. This car has been faultless mechanically as long as I've known it covering 25k miles with 550 bhp.

10K+ Poster!!
What a car! Love porches, its very nice with you.

Wheels came out really nice with the seal grey centres and chrome powder coat outers, they give 90% of the look of the polished lips but a lot easier to look after.
So a big thanks to Mikey at fife powder coating.

Awesome car Neil! MUCHOS respect to you! Makes me want to ditch the CLS and buy something a bit more proper lol
I did an install in a GT3 a while ago, find them easier to work on compared to small hatchbacks lol!

Thanks a lot Ive been out and put some miles on the car today before it gets locked up for month while I'm at work, I had forgot how much fun it was to drive and how quick it can be.
Ive only had the car just over a week but managed now to get it looking how i want , the carbon mirror covers arrived today so thats it finished looks wise bar the turbo badge to goon the back.

Congratulations on the car it looks really nice.
They really are the bargain of the century at the moment.
How do you find the alignment settings?
What I've found with my car (996gt2) is that its critical to have the exact same toe setting each side, just one minute difference and you can tell it gets unstable especially at the rear.

The car feels a lot more planted I have also adjusted the bump and rebound settings on the suspension which has helped as well.
The settings I went for was a mix of what I found on the net and original gt2 settings. I'm running within gt2 heights but still 4wd so a bit of a mix.
Do you still have the yellow GT2 ?

Yeah still got the yellow peril. On donnington on Sunday in it.
Looking at your final alignment readings they will make the car feel darty and the rear may wear the tyres on the inside.

Mine is quite extreme for use on track mainly,
-3.5 deg front camber and -2.5 deg rear, with 0 front toe and 30 mins total toe in rear.
With yours I'd recommend -2 deg front camber and -1.5 rear with 6 mins total toe in front and 28 mins total toe in at the rear.
The most important thing though is having it 100% equal each side or it will try to steer itself on the road.
To get the best out if your motons you could do with having it corner weighted as well.
I know Stevie well who you got them off, had a few good battles with him on Oulton
