I think I might go out for an hour over the next few days if the weather is nice.

The new bike will arrive once the trolley is ready, so will be in good time for the summer season of Southsea Rides

Uploaded some photos, so thought best to show what I had done.

The dials were a little dirty and the needles faded so these were treated to some fluro orange paint, and the markers on the dial faces were also treated to some fluro orange vinyl. Should be a matt/satin finish rather than the gloss which the vinyl came in.

I used some wire wool to take the sheen of the vinyl

I masked all the dials for the water temp and fuel level as these arent removable. The other needles were prised off and pinned to some card for painting. The results speak for themslelves.

Before the orange vinyl was applied!

I hope to remove the knackered cracked dash this weekend and fit the replacment minter I sourced over Christmas for a bargain price!

A little dusty in the picture but cleans up a treat as is not glossy/shiney like they normally go. Nice matt /satin finish to it.

Signing out from Buftyland

Here they are...

WOW!!

How on earth did they trace the original styling of the stickers/logos from the 80's?

I'm desperate to get these done for the cabbie with the dealer details my car was from when new!

Is this company still in business?
