Im not overally against the chrome or chromed engine bays, BUT I personally cant be doing with the constant polishing etc. I would much prefer the engine bay to look more original yet still bufty clean. A nice splash of Mr Pledge and a quick wipe rather than a week of metal polishing.

FAIL

Put the car through its MOT test, considering the car had been unused in two years I was not sure what to expect.

Well after an afternoon at work Friday I was treated to the phone call of doom!

It failed on

1 x loose rear calliper
2 x wipers
2 x sidelights bulbs missing
1 x brake light bulb
1 x lower ball joint

Hopefully all should be sorted on the above this afternoon.
Not bad at all though

Right back to topic you lot!!!

Its MOT'd and Taxed and dropped on the dyno to check all is ok... With 1bar boost we see 160hp which im happy with for now. May sneak it upto 200hp again.

Issue has arisen though, Grrrrrr!

Took car out for its first drive and all was good until the drive home.
Can someone shed some light on to this issue please.

Car was Mot'd Thursday and the electrics were fine, now the car has been unused for 2 yrs previous but all was fine and tested.

My First drive out and all was good, stopped for dinner then upon leaving.. WIRING NIGHTMARE....

The battery light came on, yet was not loosing charge... then the water temp guage and fuel level guage stopped working.
Also the indicators dont work but they do work on the hazard switch.

Once I got home, I turned the car off and then back on, the dash lights did not come on at all then... Only the back lights a dim greeny shade...

No battey light, or handbrake light etc... Car started however straight away.

Took the dash apart today and all connections are there, all fuses are fine...

Is there a relay that can take the above items out ?????
