Still on the standard shocks for now. . . and being honest mate, its awful

Spent a couple of hours cleaning the Orion up today. . . so took a few pics while it was clean again :mrgreen:

The retrimmed RS 4 spoke. . . 8)

Not done much to it recently, still got the spoler to fit, a couple of bits want repainting

Sorted a fuel leak out and changed the rear brake pads

Being rolling roaded in April 8)

Yesterday fitted a new Ford engine mount to POV. . . cost me £61 quid

Give up in finding a pattern part mount after trying 3 different mounts

TBH I wouldnt mind changing the springs and shocks. . . will see how things go. . .

Still go a few things to sort first, wants a few little bits of paintwork sorting

Got the flocked dash coming for it

Got c/l and e/w motors to fit and wire up

Possibly fitting a full Ghia trim???

Still got the full polybush kit to fit

Wanna treat it to new front tca's and track rod ends

And got a million jobs to finish off on the other Orion build

Didnt see this coming, but due to the forsale section on here. . . and these wheels coming up forsale just round the corner from me. . . I thought why not

Tried one of the 16X8 Comps on the rear tonight, took a few pics. . . cant fit them yet as still need to fit my 195/ 45/ 16's to them. . . hopefully with the stretch they should tuck under the arches. . . if not will get the grinder out and if that dont work will have to raise it up a fraction

Couldnt put the car down on the ground, the tires were sat on the arches so it should go lower yet long as I can sort the catching out

They certainly fill the arches more than the Mondeo rims did

16X8 Comp TH's are now fitted with my 195/ 45/16 inch Uniroyals off the Mondeo rims 8)
I've left it slammed for now, it catches on all 4 corners still over bumps etc. . . the rear arch lips have been totally cut off. . .
I think it looks awesome on these rims, far better than the Mondeo rims

Will have to get that paint code off you so I can get them few marks repaired on them. . .

Chuffed to bits with them. . . transformed the look of the car, will look even better next weekend with the flocked dash fitted

Give me a bell when your about tommorrow mate so you can collect the Mondeo rims

New Recaro seat covers fitted. . . fit perfect, rear arch lips touched in for now til I decide to S2 kit it or not.
Filled the fuel tank up to give it some extra slammage, its catching like f**K on the back now

That looks stunning! Easy one of the best looking Orions ever!

Deffo don't stick a kit on it though, looks nice and clean without. Plus the rear door area of the kit always looks messy when it's been cut.

New tca's fitted along with polybushes. . . fronts done bar the 22mmm anti roll bar bushes. . . there in the post
