sierra 3dr cosworth rep....update 29/06/2011....more pics on page 2

well thought i would put up some pics off my new 3dr,not a cosworth just a base model.
always wanted a 3dr one cosworth or not & i found 2,the bloke who owns them does stock car racing & was getting ready to race prep these 2.
he already had a few sierra race cars in bad shape & i said it would be a shame to smah these up as getting rare.
to cut a long story short he said i could buy 1 off him,so i went & veiwed them today to see whats what with them & they wasnt in bad shape so i had 1.the best 1 of course

gave the bloke a deposit & he delivered it for free.
the floor is in very good condition for say its been sat since 2001 but was in a garage untill early this year.
just needs welding on the chassie rails at the back,front x-member,arch's & bottem of doors need tidying up.
i happy with it & cant wait to start wortking on it

ill be taking some parts of my sapp to,rear beam with lsd & disc's,full adjustable koni's & front 4x4 cossie brakes,also full scorpion cossie system.
might have a cossie engine lined up aswel. my bro inlaw has two full engine's in bits.he said he will think about selling one but he does'nt like selling owt because you never kno lol.
so hope he desides to as the v6 ive got needs full rebuild.
anyway got the bumpers of the other night to see what its like as most cars rott behind them
this ant to bad

both side brackets need sorting

& took the chrome trim of because it was splitt,looks better without it

thats it for now,as soon ive finished my house of ill be able to spend more time on it

i think it will look alright one filler is on it

next job is to jet wash it & get the carpet out & see what else ive got to repair

got abit more done on it.gave it a good ish clean,need to get some welding done but waiting to hear about some panels first.
desided i want it white so started to paint underneath but left some parts where it wants plates on it.
im liking the clean look as its going to look new when i come to use it

can see the rust better now :'(

started to cut out the rot.

then slapped on some white & cut off the wing.

need to get the brake pipes off & then can replace or just clean them & will give the floor 1 more coat of paint.
got the tank all cleaned up & painted,then fitted it just to see how it looked

Last month i bought a mint 3dr shell from Northallerton or whatever its called lol.
Cost me £200 and he delivered it next day (270 mile round trip) free of charge!

bloody forgot I had this thread goin lol,Have been doing some work on it when I've had time, brought some new front wings,rear arches, front & rear bumpers & that's it. Got the n/s arch on & all welding done on the same side just need the wing putting on. I got it out the garage today & turned around ready to weld the drivers side.
Will get some picks up once I get my comp back from shop.
