there are some really nice touches on this car. the smoothing on the bumpers looks really good but i got to be honest. i just don't like the wheels and the stretched tires. don't think they suit the car or look good. just my opinion though. other than that i really like what you've done so far fella.

Keeping my eye on this awesome work so far...again though don't know why people stretch tyres, especially much as you have? clearly knocks the handling? only really worth it when poarked up for pictures seems like. Will be fun with the torque steer
Amazing look though, fair play.

Thanks for all the comments.
The major stretch has gone, it was just for looks really. Handling was well out of the window.
Not really done a lot more.
I bought some 315mm wilwood superlites, for a billy bargain price..
I fitted them straight away.
I put on the only wheels i had at work which would clear, 15mm spacers are needed even with these.
I then chucked the bumper back on to make it look like a car again..
Cheers.

That looks immense!! I'd love a FRS engine in mine! How much work was it really, or did you pay somebody to do it?
Think I snapped a pic of this at FITP last year

Sorry havent been on here for a while..
I have done all of the work myself. apart from the fial fabricatin of mounts, exhaust etc.
So anyway Had some deliveries last friday..
So a very busy friday night and saturday morning. Saw all of the above wires in and fitted..
Excuse the frankenstein intercooler pipes, these were just to get it running a bit better.
And then i turned the key on sunday..

Its still only on the basemap, and the downpipe is all that is connected exhaust wise..
Comments welcome.

Wo! Nice car there, how much did you get it for from the breakers? and how much did it cost to get where it was before the Focus RS engine?

Right a well overdue update..
Engine came back out for some buftyness, had the engine bay sprayed and set about making the engine and box look new. Also removed a few bits i dont need on the omex to run the engine..
Painted bay
and then Mondays progress got it looking like this.
A bit of plumbing later..
And the turbo after a round with the oven tonight.
Mapping is booked at Mech motorsport for Thursday the 29th april. So time to get a move on.
