A lot of work last night to finish the engine off, then "slotted" it into the car at around 12:30am Spent today fitting everything up, so tomorrow she'll hopefully be fired up and the long 1k running in miles begin

Sorry for pic quality, crap phone

Proper oil breather setup

@ rst-g

What's wrong with the plate? Appart from a dodgy gypo run scrap yard and garage around here, thought JLS was the in thing according to Radio 1

@ Drunken Master

Has full Gaz coilovers, compression struts and a few poly bushes. Also has solid rear beam mounts that makes it a little interesting Appart from that its a pretty good handling car. Seems that the Sierra bits work well in a Focus, if not better Will be uprating the brakes from the RS setup and a few other choice items...I think I've been talked into a fully adjustable rear beam

Its running boys and girls, and so far driving really well....TOUCH WOOD!!! Steering alterations have also made it less of handful, even in straight lines. Pleasure to drive.

Will clean it up and take some pics, as the engine bay is cleaner than everything at the moment

Oh nothing, just replaced all the bushes on the column and the steering rack arms Sounds like nothing, but the difference is unbelievable! Its very planted.

When you build yours, you will have to modify a Focus column. Basically, just weld the lower straight shaft from a Sierra to the Focus shaft where the two shafts split on a hinge.

Cars great bud, sleeper look all the way, more fun when that cock of a sales rep in his M3 tries to get away at the lights. One question i gota ask thow, with the gearbox tunnel in there, is there enough room for the standard Focus heater matrix or is it a sierra one?

There is mate, but I'm glad the original stuff isn't behind the dash because it leaves room for a better heater

Rear beam is o.k. I guess, some other options would have been better. But its safe, strong and rock hard on your back Don't worry about it

As for the heater, http://www.uwe.se/main.php?menuId=115

Already in the pipeline, was going to sort bodywork befor engine, but engine kinda pushed its way in line

Few dents and scratches here and there, will be replacing a lot of bits and having more or less a full repaint. Bodywork staying as standard as possible

Aye, remarkable how much a grill changes everything Gonna get going with the bodywork asap, luckily everything that needs paint are bits that can easily be removed from the car
