wee update...

couple of random pic's first



and then painted the tyre writing...




then got to work striping the interior to fit new interior loom :tired:




and a few more goodie's

rover turbo inlet



and now the inlet after 4 hour's of polishing...



oil breather


new tubular exhaust manifold



had my rocker cover modified, so now has 2 breather's in top


and finally, went down to see how my engine was getting on, so far he's finished building the bottom end, but we've had trouble with valve spring's, so after sending a valve spring, collet, and retainer to kent and finally getting the right one's he's now going to start rebuilding the head and then put it all together
but that won't be for atleast 2 week's now as he's gone on holiday

alright mate nice project


i hav't forgot about more info on fittin the clutch to an mtx 75 box
i'll try sort it all for u 2moz or later today lol! just need to try get some pics together to explain it best


also noticed in ur parts list at the start u say u will be running a omex 600 ecu and also green ingectors guessin ur meaning cossie dark greens.

just some info cossie injectors are low inpedance and the omex requires high impedance injectors so u will have to fit ballast ristrictors to use them

nope, didn't no that, what's ballast restrictor's? what high impendance injector's would be best suited to run 300-350bhp on a zetec?
i dont really no a great deal about anything to be honest, im just learning as i go along sort of thing... turning out to be more hassel than it's worth lol i'll get there though... one day lol

got abit of an update aswel...

went on a 3.5 hour (each way) trip to collect some new bit's from 'christian&becky'

fuelab fuel filter


black hose's and fitting's


sard fuel pressure regulator


180mph mtx75 gearbox


also got a TTV lightweight racing flywheel and a bigger oil cooler setup, but i dont have any pic's of these atm unfortunetly

just need the guy building my engine to hurry up so i can set about fitting it all, cant wait

more update's soon hopfully

update time again...

full engine spec is...

8:9:1 C/R quite high, but i wont be running stupid amount's of boost anyway.
JE forged piston's
eagle steel rod's with ARP bolt's
new oil pump
new water pump (not fitted yet as i needed a new housing...)
acl race barring's (think they're called acl anyway, cant remember off top of my head)
multy layer steel head gasket
ARP stud and nut head bolt kit
kent uprated valve spring's
titanium valve spring retainer's
breather in back
turbo oil return in front
m16 rover turbo inlet with cossie TB and light green's
MSD coil pack and lead's
tubular manifold (unsure of make)
blue adjustable pully's

that's it i think, proberly missed something though?!?

just need a focus rs clutch and i can bolt the engine and box into the car

just used a white tyre paint pen

took about 20min's to dry properly befour i could put another coat on, i dont think 1 would be enough if you want to do them properly, might aswel just get the 2 on that link, even get a free air freshener that way
alway's good to have a spare anyway, doesn't take long for it to start rubbing off...

well, not that easy, but if your prone to going round corner's/roundabout's quite fast then it'll come off pretty quick... but then i had stretched tyre's on my old cossie wheel's which proberly didn't help?
i love the look of it myself so im just doing it regardless, break's up the black alloy's and tyre's abit aswel...

yeh picture taking isn't one of my strong point's lol
you should come down to one of the rs meet's, it's held down here at south coast performance, used to be known as ABC motorsport, but they'v relocated to eastbourne and changed there name, usually have a good turn out, and it's in the warm
i'll hopfully be taking my car down there when i'v got as far as i can and they'll be mapping it and finishing off whatever i'v missed, so you can see it for yaself

thats no good.

be carful mate if wont run if u don't have the right injectors, if u look on ebay on injectors there a bloke who sels them and he tells u the cc of them and if they high or low impandence, if omex only runs high u needs rover injectors or some thing, all ford injectoers are low.

done mean to piss on ya fire but it wont run with out the right injectoers, it give the singnes so the injectors don't know what they doing.

lad called rick on here know more than me(has a red s2 rs turbo)

i spoke to my local tuner today about the omex, and he think's if the right person has the right software they can map it to suit whatever's on it...?
he's told me to ring chris todd at torque of the devil as he no's more about the omex management, so i'll be ringing him tomorrow to pick he's brain's about it
finger's crossed it can just be mapped with my current injector's

FINALLY, have an update after getting my inlaw's to upload the pic's for me

got my focus rs ap clutch and arp flywheel bolt's through




fitted new boot lid finally, and also fitted lower spoiler



and then i got cracking on making my down pipe to suit the t34 i now have, which is turning out to be a mission, why is nothing straight forward



thats as far as i got though unfortunetly due to running out of cutting disc's...


and last but not least, got round to fitting the engine... YAY!!!!!!
had my 2 wench's there to lend a hand (do the hard work lol)


and after ten minute's, the new 2ltr heart is in and bolted up



super chuffed it's in there, can now start getting thing's in place and start plumbing everything in and get to work on the wireing (well my mate will, i hate wireing)

had a few minute's left befour packing up so thought i'd bolt the exhaust manifold up, see how it look's...



despite how much grief it's causing me with various thing's, it does look fcuking awesome

that's all for now, hopfully have more done this weekend, the end is now in sight
