Thanks guys
Was very humbled by all the attention it got and people wanting to congratulate me on finishing the build and what a top job is done, makes it all worthwhile after the 6 years of non stop headaches and expense

The car ran faultless even with a cheapo Ł100 gearbox in it, did t have to touch it at all, just checked oil and water between sessions which were fine as well, no top ups needed

Anyway here is a onboard video for the 2nd session

Andy Gallacher getting a bit sideways at 08:50 in roughly too

One with the banjo is high pressure to the cylinder, other is the return to the tank.
Big pipe is feed to pump

There is only an inlet just under the rear prop flange. The fluid is at 228psi and just flows back up the line and the pump puts it back in to the reservoir when not under pressure, just like hydraulic brakes or clutch.

Pirtek made up my pipes and they did a nice t piece to the pie that goes in to the box, that way you can run the gauge to see what it is doing.

The pumps CAN exceed 600 psiso need to be correctly plumbed but I think I am right that 228 is fully locked diff.

In your pic the long pipe with the banjo is the high pressure into the box...mine is a straight connector.

The pump runs on auto trans fluid (atf) as does the transfer box. The rest uses gearbox oil (that's where the 4.5l of shock proof goes)

I may finish my standard box off at ford fest then start on this conversion lol

For pressure gauge I am going to plumb a sensor into my race tech dash so it's displayed on there

How are you guys seeing such hi pressures?
My brand new attessa unit switches off at around 170psi, ok when the plates are fully loaded i expect a slight increase but no way should you be able to make it 500psi

From info I found on the web it said max pressure is approx 228psi ?

I have spoke to someone about doing this and it is possible if I add a G-sensor but I may go with the ETS Pro as its already got its maps done and with the f88 Ecu I would need to spend a long time setting all that up and time is big money mapping as we all know lol

My one is controlled with ETS pro and is pretty much bang on 228psi.

I wonder if others have wired around the cut out switch to see such high pressures...it would seem they are not needed though.

The controller is controlling the pump cut off switch on the ETS?
Mine uses the Nissan cut off that is part of the Attessa pack.

Even with the solenoid at 100% duty the pressure in the hp line locks out at 168psi iirc.
Maybe ETS have decided more pressure is better?

Here is the schematic

Thinking about it the ETS doesn't control it as such, the Nissan cut off does and it trips out (interrupts) the low side of the 30 amp relay. Mine def reads 220 /230 psi though. The ETS must have an affect though as you can see it shift the pressure guage up and down, I think it must run the pump faster or slower but the pressure cut out must be the ultimate end of the line as pressure is just pressure. I wonder why ours are different.

The Nissan Schematic shows 228psi as max pressure though. ~(above) Have a look at "Hydraulic Control"

Interesting, i can see that on the schematic, as you said, the nissan cut off does control my lowside of the relay.
In reality i can make the pressure on the dash read what I want, but i get zero when no pressure.
