Hello everybody this is my first post on this forum, I've been researching the issue for a while and I can't seem to find a correct answer to my questions! I am planning to do this conversion but I don't know what to do with the ECU!!! My mondeo mk2 1997 does not have Immobiliser, and all the 2.0 Engines I found are out of automatic cars, so what do I do whith the management?!! do I use my 1.6 loom and ECU? what ECU to use? how? do i need to change the engine loom? please I really need help :S I don't know what to do !!!

keep ur loom, u need a deep desk or dewy ect, if u use a auto engine ur need to put on ur flywheel clutch and also CPS in the block , iv never done a mondeo but loads of fiesta's guess a mondeo would be proper easy as it come in one tho

couldn't find any of these ECU codes because we do not have mk1 mondeos here :S

I found out that my car is running EEC V not IV so i need to change the engine loom? will the IV loom fit directly or need modifications?
