RS1600I Resto aka Project "Graft"
Well finally got rid of my S2 
But have now got a RS1600I Full car just needs restoring there is a lot of work to do but i think it will be worth it to end up with a mint 16i
Now the car
Not too bad ehh..........BUT
Had some shit repairs in the past
And at the mo
What u guys think
Bit of money and some hard graft and i have a goodn (OK alot of money)

Well dont think it will be too bad, I have sold my S2 and all my bits and i still have my zetec turbo engine to sell so all that will fund the rebuild.
Priced up parts inc paint and full engine rebuild and new panels looking around Ł1200-1500 Which imo its not that bad.

no offence but i just learned too weld in about 10 mins and my welding is much better than that shit that sum1 has done too ur 16i,but too be honest it doesnt look too bad,mone looks like it was a lot worse
but i just took a weeks hols from work and got all the welding done in 1 go so now im doing all the prep work and that takes so much longer but it is worth it,she will be a minter once shes finished so keep up the good work....
out of curiosity how long from the first pics too the last???

Days.. Long ones mind, As it is so far is down to my mate he is a bit of a grafter
But ill do my share

Already paid for the respray as i was going to get my S2 done so i have just swapped the car if u like, Also it helps when you have a mate who owns his own body shop
And me and my mate will be doing all the prep and priming, then off to the body shop for paint and clear cote.

Hell of alot of good work going on there, did you not fancy getting the shell shotblasted? seems alot of work getting it back to baremetal otherwise?
Interesting choice of engine, will be good to see something different in a 16i, plenty of standard examples left so why not try something new?
