Talking advice needed for rust tretment method

Hi every1 can any1 help out with some bodywork advice! i noticed some scabby bits/ rust patches on my car i have sanded them back to bare metal and treated them with loctite rust remedy as they were a bit pitted then i put on zinc anti rust primer! But do i have to use anything else on top of that ie normal primer before paint? Or should i use red oxide paint or something else? also whats the best prevention from rust for the sills and floor and inner side of front wings from rusting? Any advice appreciated

Doing what you described, it'll rust back through whatever you paste on top of it. You want the rust to go permanently, cut or grind the bad metal out. Replace as necessary.

So doing it on the cheap. You can grind the rust out then fill. But no amount of "treated" rust will ever be anything other than rust, just delayed by a couple of weeks by whatever product you decide to waste your money on.
