hi guys...i need some help...i have a ford escort 1.1 laser 85 5 doors,mk3. i wanna know if the engine of a ford escort rs turbo 88 fits....
i have to be really sure that will fit...can somebody help me???thanks here is the photo of my laser

never heard of an escort 1.1 laser 5 door myself. :s

but any engine will fit into any car, just depends how deep your pockets are.

Sure... engine bay 3-door and 5-door is absolutely the same. But you'll have to do some minor changes to make MK4-parts fit the MK3 or buy the parts made for the MK3. I think about the radiator and other car specific parts...

are that that the escort rs turbo'88 has the mk4???maybe it's x3ri....

from a mk3 s1 turbo

engine mounts
rad
intercooler
loom

mk4 s2 turbo

engine and everything else

go to photos,
on my ford xr3i,mk3....look at the red engine on a black escort, on the first page,that's the engine!
would it fit on my 1.1 laser 85 mk3?
