Default Wing Mirror - Mk1 Fiesta / Mk2 Escort

Im after a wing mirror off an old Fiesta.
- Took them off for painting and managed to break the glass of one of them (rust was forming around the edge and seal) and am now stuggling to find suitable glass.

I have the lhs side one which i painted wit the glass inplace.

I also have what was sold as the right replament glass from my local autoparts place, but its actaully a 'stick over the top of the existing glass' repair glass rather the the correct size replacment glass. I could also i possable do with a replacment seal. (or the whole unit i could paint to match).

I belieave the same wing mirror glass was also used in the Capri, Cortina, and Granada at some point. lhs and rhs glasses are the same.

Any leads welcomed.

That sounds fantasic.
- They are adjustable i guess, the pressed steel back attaches to the alumimum cast mount with a ball type adjustble mount thing. No lever inside the car or anything like that.

If you have one that matchs, how much are you after for it and what nick is it in?
- Can i offer you £8-10 posted for it?

Well if it isn't adjustable you could always have the one that fits perfectly. The removal of side or wing mirrors could be troublesome for those who don't know much about the process. Normally if you purchase online it comes with the manual(about Ford mirror removal and installation).
