i think i might hav just sussed out how too post
we will see,,,here we go again

right i need sum advice and was told this is the place too ask

im about too start restoring my 86 xr2 but ive had countless xr2s and they r good for a giggle and handle well as standard.ive got the brakes and suspension sorted and the bodtwork is now away too start, too make it mint but i really want more power.........dont we all

im looking for 200bhp as cheaply as possible,im not doin a half arsed job,just want the best for my£££ but ive got 3 kids and need to start collectin bits and pieces as funds allow

now my thots hav been either 2ltr zetec or st170 engine on bike carbs..
cant afford too keep rebuilding blown up turbo engines

what i really want too no is the best way too go and what parts im goin too need as ive been told so much diffrent ways of gooing about it
what clutch,gearbox,flywheel and the likes i need too use with either of these engines,the thing is if you blow up a zetec you can pick em up for pennys.....st is a wee bit more expensive....

all advice will be much aprreciated and im hoping too find sum1 that really does no what they r on about

Drop in a zetec or you could build a zvh.

did think about a zvh but if i blow it up or should i saw when it will be all the more hassle and if its a mainstream engine you just pull it out and get another one

200bhp from a N/A 2 litre Zetec aint going to be cheap by any means.
