Finally did some more on the car, MTX conversion now nearly finished, just needs the mount finishing off and one more inner CV spider joint.

Ordered my nitrous jets and bought a tubular manifold too along with a few other little bits.

Also bought a GT3071R. Got it at a good price and couldnt resist though it hit the gearbox casing but luckily just manages to get away putting it 180 degrees which is what I wanted to do for the intercooler/chargecooler setup anyway. Needs a tiny bit of cutting/welding to the V band flange but it fits

So spun the other way

Also got decent room on the rad spun this way which is nice

Just got loads of little shitty things to sort out now but hoping to poor some more money in the car and have it doing some running in miles just after christmas.

Hello again!

and the next question!

How would you control the VCT? original its a PWM Signal, does your ECU can control thos, or do you go for another way?

My ECU does, control PWM, in a few weeks i have to do the maping, and i am trying to find anybody how did map the VCT before...

Quick update, trying despretely to get car ready for Central Day, but got a new job wiring for Classic Ford so moving out of London and time quick!

Car is now on its mounts, all shafts etc... bolted up just plumbing the engine in but still having major trouble with clearance on water pump/alternator and throttle body/servo, which are things I thought Id sorted!

As it stands:

Fit a Bias pedal box. Arrow Engineering will modify your Mk1 pedal box for cylinders and post it back to you. Top class service.

Get pics of the way yours mounts yet? Did you have to space the drivers engine mount?

Have thought about it. You know how much they charge roughly?

Rather get some better pics when its looking a bit better

Still waiting on the steady bars but ohter than that its on the mount you see on the right and needed a 10mm spacer on the driver's side, which I might have got away with out.

Si this is mint. Love the progress, bomber that sounds almost too good with the pedal box, are you happy with what looks to be a fiesta centre mount holding up to your power?
