Default My Fiesta Xr2i Restro Project UPDATE 22/03/09

Right here goes my first car project i brought a xr2i off ebay for £180
spares or repair oil light stays on but its got oil in there so either pump or filter blocked or oil pressure switch not sure are either of these things common ?
she needs a tidy up new left hand rear quater pannel (anyone no where i can source one of these?)
the arches are suprisingly mint
respray on
bonnet
bumpers
skirts
bootlid
& just a genral tidy up
she come with tax and mot till may
145thousand on the clock

plans are to get her looking mint
rollcage
allloys
some coilovers
some bigger discs n brakes (any some people could recommend?)
strut braces front and rear
strainless steel pipe with scorp back box
and few more things depending what i decide on
anyways less chit chat heres some pics

Love xr2i's, is it a zetec or a cvh with later alloys , if it all goes tits up you'll make your money back and more by stripping it , GL with the resto

its the cvh model did't no they done a zetec model
got any pictures of xr2i's see if i can get some insperation from any of them

thanks mate and yeah it is pain the the backside to because i got to source a rear quater from somewhere and dont have a clue where to start shes alright for a first car though i think and for £180 you can't grumble

right update as its my first one
thought oil problem had fixed itself but went to take it back to my house from my dads and it came on again i ended up being towed 20miles (was rather amusing)
anyways done some work today got a few pics nothing major but here you go


god dam rust


striped back awaiting roll cage & bucket seats



and

some wheels ive decided i want in 16s with toyo proxies tyres
