Hi.
Have put siemens'55 + MSD chip + big intercooler. Set boost controller to 2.2bar peak, hold 2bar. Now it run very fast. But clutch sliping at 4 and 5 gears: new AP organic + new ford cover

And my new intercooler, it big, but not RS500 style.

Have receive from U.K. Helix Kit.
Seems very strong and with good quality. disk thickness 8.5mm, the same with my slipping AP organic. So, I plan to put this helix cover with AP first, then with paddle helix after it will start to slip.

I agree with you, R17 is better, but our roads not in so good condition to use tyres like 205/40 or 215/40

I have a problem now - 15 valves is dead. The reason is tension pulley - it wasn't installed correctly little time ago((

I have in spares 14 used valves in good condition. My mate from Moscow promised to give me another 2.

Now the head is off the engine and I removed all guides to suit new one. They will be custom made from special bronze.

Now I'm thinking about full rebuild.
For rebuild I want to use 4x4 bottom end with millage less then 100k. In spares I have a 200 block(std size), crankshaft+connecting rods std size, oil pump 4x4 etc.
Also for rebuild there are spares on the shelf:
Wiseco forged piston set
ACL Race bearing kit
Cometic full gasket set
Some seals etc

I have the following plan:
To re-bore block to 91.5mm to fit new pistons.
To use crankshaft+connecting rods in std size. Just re-balance it together with 2wd flywheel+clutch cover+pulley. But I doubt whether to polish it or now.
To reuse thrust half washers - they are OEM Ford and in good condition.
To reuse 4x4 oil pump with new uprated spring and new drive. But I doubt how to use it with 2wd sump. Need to fit 2wd pump cover for this?

I think I will use again std head bolts with gr.A gasket. Because I don't want to skim again the head. I measured it - the bow is less then 0.05mm.

I found some damages for exh. camshaft, is this bed, can I reuse it?

Any comments and suggestions will be great!

Default Camshaft

A crankshaft is produced to have an extreme hard surface. If the surface is damaged it is in general broken. Maybe you can repair it but it will need the same prosess like a new one to manage to be hard in the surface again.
The most easy will be to get a new one i think. Or maybe yoy shold change them bouth and get more power?

I have also send you an PM.

Didn't find that pic with the 3dr headlights on a notchback (it was a photomontage I guess) but it looked fine. And your car too mate, unusual but nice. Many would only expect "oh a cossie spoiler on a standard car, how boring" but then proper cossie power will kick ass

Nothing can beat a nice looking 3dr but Ford had could do this ex factory IMO.....
